Our current Topic is STARGAZERS!
Let’s travel into space and take an adventure through the planets orbiting our Sun!! We will learn how to make our own space helmets as well as uncovering the race that led up to the journeys into space!!!! Fasten your seatbelt and strap in for this bumpy ride….to infinity and BEYOND!!!

Oranges in No Man’s Land brings Elizabeth Laird’s emotional and gripping adventure to her next generation of fans.
Since her father left Lebanon to find work and her mother tragically died in a shell attack, ten-year-old Ayesha has been living in the bomb-ravaged city of Beirut with her granny and her two younger brothers. The city has been torn in half by civil war and a desolate, dangerous no man’s land divides the two sides. We will be looking at different animals life cycles! We will be looking at the work of Jane Goodall with chimpanzees as well as looking at different classifications of animals!
French – Greetings, numbers and colours.

ICT – Coding simple programs and debugging.
PE – Swimming and athletics.
Geography – Contours
Art and DT – Designing our own mini beast hotel!
We are always on the lookout for cardboard boxes and tubs/tins. If you have any of these please feel free to bring them into 5B and we will find use for them in our D&T lessons!
