Creative Curriculum – Beast Creator

We will be learning about different types of minibeasts across the world. We will start our topic by visiting Caldmore Community Gardens to see what we can find under logs, wriggling in soil and fluttering across the garden. We will then be using an atlas to locate some of the most peculiar minibeasts in the world. During our topic, we will be using our designing and constructing skills to make our very own minibeast hotels. To find out what a minibeast is; watch the video below.

Science – Life Cycles!

We will be looking at different animals life cycles!  We will be looking at the work of Jane Goodall with chimpanzees as well as looking at different classifications of animals!

Phewwww!

French – Greetings, numbers and colours.

PE – Swimming and dance.

Geography – Contours

Art and DT – Designing our own mini beast hotel!
